The idea behind Dame Jeanne was to take a fresh look at a traditional, handcrafted object, to reinterpret its volume using different materials.
The weight of glass replaced by the lightness of textile.
Soft threads are woven in such a way as to restore the original volume in a delicate way.
Dame Jeanne is entirely hand-woven. The sizes can thus differ and make each one unique.
Dame Jeanne is made in the castle of Méritein, our factory in Béarn (South West of France), with hand-woven linen thread.
