When flowers are serenity to the interiors, we want our lamps and suspensions to be the delicacy. Imagined, designed and created with meticulous care; our lamps will underline your volumes and, depending on the room, bring a muffled warmth or bright and colorful.

The idea of the Banana Tree ceiling light grew a few years ago, in a Moroccan riad with green walls and lush vegetation. Since then, a series of drawings were made, prototypes were refined, and this ceiling light was finally created. It is light, long and colourful thanks to a discreet brass armature, like a reminder of this tropic summer atmosphere we want to extend during the colder months, minimalist through its lines and chosen matters. A masterpiece.

Banana Tree is equipped with a one-meter long bank of led lamps, hidden in a brushed brass rod and hanging from two brass rods (height of the rods: 30 cm. You can opt for 50 cm length with no additionnal cost. Other heights are possible on request, send us an email at bonjour@georgesstore.com). The vertical rods end with high wooden cylinders, one of them holds the electrical connection.

The led power enables a local lighting, perfect for a desk, a work surface or a dining table.

Manufacturing details

Each element of this ceiling light is produced or manufactured in our workshop in Béarn and sourced in France. The leaf is made from two leaves of different colours and hand-painted, one in woven paper and the other one in starched cotton. The brass parts are cut in the centre of France and then brushed again by us. The wooden cylinders are made of Landes pine.
